WHY I’M RUNNING

Green Bay Changed My Life

This community has given me everything. As someone who grew up with very little, raised by a teenage single mother who battled homelessness, Green Bay showed me what it looks like when a community truly takes care of its own. It is where we landed after I fell in love with the son of a dairy farmer, bought my first home, and built a life rooted in the values this city lives every single day.

Serving the people of the 90th District has been the honor of my life. And I am asking for the chance to keep going.

What Is at Stake

The road to a Democratic majority in Madison still runs through Green Bay, and we have proven we can win here. After a decade of gerrymandering that turned our legislature into a graveyard for good ideas, we now have fair maps and a real shot at change. But fair maps alone do not build homes, fund schools, or raise wages. That takes someone who shows up every single day and fights.

What We Have Already Built

In my first term, I did not wait. I helped pass two bipartisan bills into law, fought off federal cuts to our Conservation Corps, kept over 100 families from losing their housing, stood up for veterans facing homelessness, organized a community protest against a billionaire trying to buy our elections, and introduced bold legislation to fully fund our public schools while cutting property taxes by up to 40%. This is what showing up looks like. And I am just getting started.

Why I Am Running Again

I am running because a full day's work still deserves a full day's pay in Green Bay. Because working families are still being priced out of homes in the neighborhoods they love. Because insurance companies are still putting profits before patients. Because our public schools are still waiting for the funding they deserve. And because Green Bay deserves a representative who fights to ensure that our policies, priorities and results reflect the Green Bay value of taking care of one another.

Join Me

I cannot do this alone. This campaign is rooted in the same belief that has guided everything I have done in public service: when everyday people come together with a clear purpose, they are unstoppable.

Together, rooted in love for this community, we can make the progress our families and neighbors deserve.
