Bills: Fighting for a Fair State Budget — Protecting Green Bay’s Priorities
Rep. Rivera-Wagner fought hard during the state budget process to protect Green Bay residents from cuts that would have hurt working families, schools, and local services. He pushed for increased investments in public education, workforce housing, and mental health resources, and opposed budget provisions that would have shifted costs onto municipalities like Green Bay. While Republicans in the Legislature passed a budget that fell short on priorities like childcare and environmental protection, Amaad voted against the parts that would harm his district and made clear he would not rubber stamp a budget that leaves Green Bay families behind.
